Situated in the quiet village of Knowstone, Rosemary Cottage is ideally placed for riding, walking (information on the Two Moors Way walk click here) or fishing on Exmoor, with good access to the lovely North Devon coastline. Offering tastefully decorated and well appointed accommodation and a hearty to healthy breakfast. There is one double bedroom and one twin, both with luxurious private shower rooms, bathrobes, TV, comfy chairs and tea & coffee making facilities.
Little Owl Cottage is a grade II listed thatched character cottage hidden away in the small village of Knowstone on the edge of Exmoor. Little Owl was built in the 16th Century and the lounge exudes charm and character with a large inglenook fireplace with original bread oven and a wood burning stove, large window seat and original ceiling beams.
West Bowden Farm is a working farm situated one mile from Knowstone just North of the A361 Atlantic Highway. West Bowden borders a nature reserve, Exmoor and the route of the Two Moors Way. The farmhouse accommodation consists of double, twin, family and single rooms, two being on the ground floor and a cosy guest lounge with digital television. All our rooms are en suite complete with tea and coffee making facilities,clock radio and a colour television.
Catsheys is a luxury boutique bed and breakfast nestling in ten acres of organic gardens and woodland in the heart of North Devon. Rosie and David have made their spacious contemporary house deeply comfortable. Light and airy, eclectically furnished bedrooms with large cosy beds, crisp linens, down duvets and fresh flowers from the garden - all go towards making your stay truly memorable.
The Devon Wine School is just a wonderful place to stay and enjoy good wine and food, with 5 very comfortable en-suite double rooms offering Gold Award 5 Star B&B accommodation. There’s even a hard tennis court to offset all possible indulgences. The School, run by Master of Wine Alastair Peebles and his wife Carol, is in a slightly forgotten but delightfully rural spot between Exmoor and Dartmoor, just 10 miles north of Exeter and 25 minutes from the Tiverton Junction 27 of the M5. The 17th century farmhouse sits in the middle of 3 acres in absolute tranquillity, with no near neighbours.
